When you know of a person’s suffering, of their being hungry, sad, lonely, and needed someone to hug, talk to and share with, please don’t just make that prayer effort and leave it at that.
Because chances are if that person is still waiting and needing help and God knows that you know about their situation God is saying, “I know where you are at, I know your situation. I know what your family and friends think, I know how this makes your heart feel sad, and I know that you know of the hunger and suffering. But know this too, You are the one that I am sending to help!”
So if you want to help someone and to save them from what they are going through, then get in your car, get out and buy some food. Maybe even just takeaways, and then get around to that house and be the friend that this person needs right now.
Sometimes our prayers are just not enough to change someone’s circumstances or situation. Sometimes you got to get out there and see to it that the person gets the help and love that they need when they are down.
