As we grow up from a child to teenager we listen to advice, we get encouragement and help from other people. And that is very good to help each one of us to develop and progress.
But eventually or ideas will differ from other people’s. Those who led and taught us in the past are on their own life journey, we discover that we have a different journey, this is the natural way of life. And that means that we will think differently, choose different goals, and want a different destiny. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
But sometimes those who led and taught us in the past have trouble letting go. Some years ago they decided that they wanted us to do what they have done, or they decided that we should live a life that they have come up with. This is very unfair of them, yet in their concern for our future they may think that their choices are fair and wise.
We discover as we mature in life that we cannot please everyone. We realize that we shouldn’t try to please others if it denies us our own needs, and goals. To deny ourselves what we truly want, is to deny ourselves happiness.
You will never be happy living someone else’s plan for your life. So please don’t try for your own sake.

Happiness is the journey.
The journey will never be happy for you if you are not doing what it is that you want to do. It is very simple logic and clearly common sense. Obviously doing what you want to do with all your heart and soul will make you happy along your journey (your life).

At any age we can get back to the basics of life, and then consider what we wanted for our own life before other people and society pushed us in a different direction.
We can also remember what we wanted to see in life that was good, fair, fun and good when we were younger (and even now) and then bringing back those ideas, dreams and thoughts, and starting with change in our own life we can make the world a better place starting in our own neighborhood and town/city.
