In the box you get the card with 2 antenna sockets, and the antenna which is very fancy indeed.

My experience with this setup was far more impressive than the Kogen WiFi extender.
I was able to use the Internet, watch movies, Facebook, use my web site and more. But there was one strange failing, I was not able to upload or download or watch some videos.

My Internet Provider had some issues up to this point and I was having to, from time to time when Internet became very slow, turn off the router and turn it on again and things would be up to scratch again as the unit had found a more decent connection.

For about a week I was not able to upload any decent sized files to my web site or YouTube because of the struggling WiFi service provided by the GC-WBAX200 unit.

The reviews were amazing, people made many wonderful claims, and if it were not for the uploading issues I would definitely have stuck with the GC-WBAX200.

I connected up the Bluetooth cable as was suggested in the instructions and Bluetooth lasted about one day, the next day it refused to connect 🙁

Back in 1997 when I started a computer company called Sandbrook Software & PC Services Ltd I was in the room I am in now and I had a long telephone cord running along the hall to get the Internet, it was a real hassle and not the ideal setup.

Fast-forward to today and one would expect some serious WiFi extender capabilities.

I noted that Ethernet cables were another option.
The cable of this sort (Cat6) did not lose signal until it got over 100 feet, and that was no where near the length of my house, so I ended up buying a 25 foot cable, and then hard wiring it through my house and to my delight Internet is now going at full speed and I don’t need a WiFi Extender any more.

The failure of the GC-WBAX200 and the Kogen N200 performing to decent standards in my home may be due to the wiring in the house, the walls, or that the big heavy metal Yunca fireplace was in the path, whatever the case neither performed well for me enough to keep them running.

Maybe there were other options that I could have tried but for now I am very happy with the cable I ought for $26 dollars.
So for now my PC does not use Bluetooth or WiFi anymore, but I am cool with that as long as my cable works and I can get on the Internet.

My advice is that due to the excellent quality of Ethernet cables these days you could possibly take the cheap path and just buy a cable instead of using a WiFi Extender if you get a bad signal and bad performance on the Internet after moving your PC far from your Router.
