When a person’s mind is ravaged by delusions it will readily accept and believe just about anything. Serious delusions are mental illness.
If those delusions are fed by other people then the imagination in a state of anxiety and fears will come up with anything.
I have in my past where I have suffered like this, especially after my ex-wife left. I was a complete mental mess. On the outside I liked fine and that nothing wrong, some people probably thought that I was a bit strange at times though.
My mind was full of anxiety, worries and fears. Even from 2004 to 2010 I was still struggling. But things got better and I got better as time progressed.
Disney has a cartoon of Donald Duck like that. He listens to the radio and gets more and more panicky. The news screeching his fears, creating delusions, more worries and anxiety.
Hitler did this during the Second World War. He created lies and feed those lies to the frightened German public, and they were keen to kill an enemy that they thought was evil. Feeding fear into people’s minds creates more fears, anxiety and hate.
There have been cases of corrupt families feeding the fears of one member of the family who “clicks” that what the family is doing is wrong. If a family member suffers mental health issues then the family can creates fears in that person’s already weakened mental state.
They all gang up on the one person and effectively drive that person crazy, and then blame others for that person’s mental illness struggles, and already deluded, full of anxiety this person will believe anything. And of course the more people involved the more the case can look real. Money can buy many people, even old friends.
Delusions can be fed until a person is completely fooled by those around this person.
