It is easy in a physical world to blame someone else for the bad things that happen to us, but if we fall over we get hurt, its a law of nature that we have a good chance of being hurt when we fall. All of us fall over sometimes, we, most of us end up with at least one broken bone in life, or worst, that is life. Something that is sad, painful, but just happens.
Job, Jesus, other Prophets, and other people, they go through hard times out of their control, and when this happened it was easy for the world to look at their misery and say, “He [or she] deserves that. They brought it on themselves.”
Job was trying to get it across that he was not suffering because of anything that he had done wrong, but no one wanted to believe him, not even his wife, nor his children who moved on and left him to suffer alone.
You may notice that when you have hard times, people, many people, come up with their own versions of why you seem to have failed and are suffering, and all the reasons will be because of your supposed failures and incompetence and not their failure to help you, or their lack of desire to try to understand what happened to you, to them judging you harshly is fine.
People ask, why did God allow the Second World War to happen, millions of people suffered and died, innocent people. The reason why any war happens is that people make the wars, they actually sit down, plan, prepare, and go to war with lots of people who volunteer or are trained to fight and kill.
The blame for any war ever is with human beings and has nothing to do with God. Each person preparing to go to war to kill at the beginning of the war would have been shown in many ways that war was bad, family would have tried to stop this person fighting and so on, but ignoring all the common sense that states, “Don’t start a war” off that person goes anyway and gets killed in that war, or tortured, and such.
Human Beings bring war on themselves.
Free Will is us having the choice to do good or bad, and to show that God loves us, God allows complete Free Will. God can give us red flags, warnings, people to help us, to guide us, to show us a better way, but if in the end we decide to do the thing that is wrong for our health, mental health, life, and so on, no one can stop you, as you have the right to choose for yourself what you want to do.
If we sin, meaning if we do something bad that has consequences such as smoke (sin against the vessel, the body) we get sick, cancers and such, eat food with chemicals, water with additives we can get cancers. If we party we could get badly hurt while drunk, raped, murdered. If we abuse drugs, that has a while difference type of consequences. None of the sinful things that people do are approved for us by God, but millions of people do them every day, and they laugh at God, and they laugh at logic, common sense, and they laugh at strong willed mature people, and they will in some way pay for their careless living and cry to the world about how life is unfair to them, and many will claim that God is cruel for allowing them to suffer.
Job, Jesus, suffered not because they sinned, but because of other reasons, and one of the most destructive reasons that they suffered was because of nasty, jealous, angry, judgmental human beings. Humans did more damage to them than anything, and humans judged them cruelly, caused them to suffer longer and in cruel ways, and all through it, humans saw them as ‘below them”.
Job did not cause his suffering, neither did Jesus, humans caused them to suffer, God allowed that suffering the same way that God couldn’t stop the wars. There are always many people who can stop a war, or an unfairness, or a Character Assassination, or hate, or cruelty, but sometimes they are not listened to, so the innocent must suffer.
The suffering of the Prophets and other people is sometimes allowed as an example to people, and to show the Prophet what people of their time are really like, and who their friends really are, and who was from the beginning really on their side.
Jesus called his followers his family because his real family refused to believe that Jesus was working for God. No matter what Jesus did, nor said, got through to his own family, but complete strangers listened, learned, became new in their Souls, and they are the ones that Jesus called family.
What God was showing Jesus was that people can say nice things but not back them up, and family can say that they love you while they don’t respect you enough to want to be with you or listen to you, when Jesus was Character Assassinated by the churches of the time, and the public, Jesus quickly found out that those who he called friends (like Peter) ignored him, disowned him while he suffered and looked the other way so that publicly no one would associate them with Jesus.
God supports for us all things based on Love, compassion, empathy, kindness, charity and such, anything else we choose has nothing to do with God, but of our own choice. Huge amounts of religious people pray to God often while not acting out what is good, but rather being unfair, dishonest, and acting as hypocrites, but refuse to see it or admit it – woe to those who call evil good and do evil.
In a weak-minded society people back up and support those who are honoured publicly, like those with titles, money, and such, when in reality many of those very people are the criminals of society that are protected because of their titles and wealth.
When Job and Jesus were suffering many wealthy were pleased, the religions were pleased, but probably not because they were mean, but because they did not understand how Jesus could have changed their lives for the better, given them new hearts, cleansed souls, happier more loving lives, as they turned from a love of materialism and selfish desires, and became caring, helpful, kind, and they fell in love with life, people, the planet.
Being Born Again is a complete reversal of who society made you, into the human being who you always wished that other people were, and wished you are.
Most people don’t see themselves as the cause of an innocent persons suffering because of pride and also a “Story’ that comes hand-in-hand with the persons suffering, such as being told lies mixed with some truth to make the innocent person look very guilty, so if a person has come to what seems an obvious conclusion that the person is guilty or a bad person, dishing out some suffering to that person seems well justified – God didn’t make a person do a cruel thing, that person came to the conclusion that being cruel was an accepted thing to do because to the person being cruel it is justice.
The biggest example of mass Character Assassination and hate, and the delusion of being heroes as Flying Monkeys, is Hitler talking millions of people in to believing that with their far superior air force, going into Poland and bombing innocent families and killing them was a good righteous thing to do – the religious of Jesus’ time also taught their people to hate Jesus and not listen to Jesus.
The human race is not perfect, we can be convinced to do bad things and not even realise that we are part of a hate attack on someone innocent, or an innocent nation such as the likes of Poland who had no chance at all of defending itself against such a superior attack. The pilots went back to Germany and were given medals for defeating an enemy, a people who were sitting ducks for the slaughter including the children and elderly. Those pilots were very happy and proud of their efforts, because they had been taught to believe that doing an evil thing was a good thing.
If Hitler could delude people with pride that much, some clever person can confuse you and I, so please be careful about what people tell you, get the facts.
Please, before you do things that society pushes you to do, always remember that there are always consequences, and these are good and bad, do good wholesome caring things and the results will be good, it won’t make life perfect, but helps a lot – but most importantly you will come to love and respect yourself the more you see with the mind of the Good Samaritan.
Remember when society’s looking down on someone, saying bad things about someone, that gossip exists, liars exist, people can be very crafty and cause people untold unfair cruelty and suffering, that Character Assassination exists, that haters exist, and that many true events, stories, and such, show us that people can be treating an innocent person very badly and be very wrong about that person, such as with Job and Jesus.
We can be true to ourselves, by being fair to others.
