- Why Does God Allow Evil?
Now since the beginning of humankind they have been speculating about this, why would a loving caring God allow Evil?
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life: “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf will win?” He replied, “The one who you feed.”
The point from that story is that we are in fact evil and good, and what version we feed the most is who we become.
Claims from religions that God will remove Evil is totally false because in order to remove Evil, God would have to destroy the entire human race.
If God were to destroy Satan right now, wipe out all the demons and such that exist today, within a year it will all start again, because Satan is not the cause of evil, humans are.
Its like they say that Evil cannot make you change your mind about something or convince you, for in the end, it is only you who does the evil or bad act, you were not forced to do it, you were tempted yes, but in the end you were also the one who chose to do it.
As Jesus said and all the Prophets said, Evil will always exist.
How do we combat Evil?
By being the opposite to Evil.
In a society where we are taught to be Atheist, Apathetic, Selfish, lacking Empathy, doing Evil is a far easier choice, because the wisdom, logic and common sense that teach us that Evil is bad for us is lacking.
We have, for many of us a lot of school education, we just lack the parenting Life-Education we should have been taught throughout our lives.
All that time in schooling and our parents off at work or elsewhere (physically away from us or in mind away from us) we were totally unprepared for a life that is evil and we are unprepared to recognise Evil, or what is Bad for us and others, and instead because society was designed around business, working, and commerce, evil is highly regarded as good, such as prostitution, criminals are seen as normal in many societies and TV and movies make the bad, evil and violent as the heroes, books and magazines make bad people look good, trendy, fashionable, and unstable people who are wealthy are seen as people we admire and long to be.
There was a survey in the USA back in the 1990’s and they asked, Do you believe in Evil, and most said no.
They asked how many believe in God, and more said yes.
If you don’t believe that your enemy exists or what your enemies tools of war are, your chances of being seduced, used by evil, and destroyed, and so on are far higher.
Evil Tools, are Revenge, Hate, an Eye For An Eye, Character Assassination, Gossip, Lies, Cruelty, Child Abuse, and so on. Atheists don’t believe in God, but more frighteningly, they don’t believe in Evil, thus they become the perfect tools for Evil to exist amongst us.
As long as we don’t believe that Evil exists we are more apt to do Evil things and seeing them as choices, actions, fun, pleasures, rather than seeing how they can harm our lives, how we live, and in the Universal Laws of Life, we will pay for every Good and Evil thing that we do while we are alive.
Atheists allow their children to use bad language, they speak to their children with bad language, they allow their children to watch TV and movies that are unsuitable for children because Atheist cannot comprehend the damage that they do to the growth and minds of the young because they cannot see the wrong in what they do.
As long as Atheists believe that they will not pay for bad deeds, Evil actions, or pay after they die, they are more tempted to do Evil now and then and reassure themselves that when they die the slate will be wiped as they will no longer exist anymore.
Every time a bad thing happens to an Atheist due to an Evil act they did, the Atheist will call it bad luck, Murphy’s Laws, fate, and so on, having a list of excuses to reassure themselves that the revenge they took or the act of hate was a good thing to do and it needed doing.
Atheists and non-believers get very angry when they are being taught the errors of their own ways, as they see it as unfair judgments, hate, cruelty and so on, and this is because they are so submerged in their ways that they cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel and they think that the darkness that they accept as light and as fun, and good enough for them therefore good enough for their young.
So, you may ask why does God allow Evil, while you are an Atheist who allows Evil in your home in general talk, immorality, bad language, abuse to your children that you have no comprehension is actually evil, because you were mentally unprepared and therefore unable to note what is Evil/bad, what the harm that Evil does to you and your family members, thus if you don’t know you won’t protect your family from it or yourself, and more than likely you will celebrate Evil, do Evil, partake in the Evil Tools and see it all as normal and good.
We humans are the reason why Evil exists, but Wisdom tells us that as long as we refrain from being Evil ourselves and live compassionate, decent lives with love and empathy for all living creatures, we will have families and down-lines that are aware that Evil exists, how to avoid being Evil and the harm that Evil can bring to our lives.
One of the biggest issues we have is that we Entertain Evil Thoughts, because today we are not taught to avoid Evil Thinking.
The point is, is that the moment a thought of revenge, hate, a desire to hurt, gossip, lie, offend, and such thinking appears in our mind we should remove it and not think about it, thus not entertain the thought.
The more a person entertains the thought in his or her mind the more it can become appealing, desirable, and useful.
As long as we tell ourselves Not To Entertain Evil Thinking because they will at some time in the future do us some harm, we will be in more control of our minds, not consider Evil Tools, and our world will be a much nicer, healthier place.
