Winston Churchill & Black Dog…

Winston Churchill, whose name conjures up Victory, was constantly fighting a battle within himself: he had recurring fits of depression, which he nicknamed Black Dog.

Throughout his life he had to choose between saying, “Down, boy” or being defeated by this attacking creature. He cultivated that certain kind of moral courage that would not give in, and became the strong leader who inspired the British and their Allies in dangerous times.

Deuteronomy Chapter 31, verse 6:  Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid…
