Worries Can Make You Sick.

There was this man who was known as a strong and capable person. At work and play he was admired.

One day he collapsed. He had to stay in bed, he couldn’t face the world, he had developed severe dizziness, and when he got up he vomited. Unable to cope he stayed in his room

Then surprisingly one day he was as good as he was before he was sick.

He told his doctor that he was sick due to worry. The doctor asked him how can he be sure of that?

What happened was that he backed up a loan that one of his best friends took out. It was a considerable amount of money. He hesitated signing the agreement because if his friend failed to pay back the money, he would lose everything he owned, house, car etc, to pay off his friends loan.

It was not long after that that his friend was seriously injured in an accident, and it looked like he couldn’t pay back the loan. He spent months in hospital recovering.

When the man who fell sick was at his worst, his friend who had the accident came to see him and told him that he had paid the loan off in full. And from that moment on the man’s sickness disappeared.

He was so distressed by worries and fears, especially after his friend had the accident, that he couldn’t function in society anymore. The thought of losing all that he had worked for was too much for him.

Once the problem was dealt with he became instantly in good health again as he was before.

There was a Lone Ranger episode that I watched years ago with my children and an old man and his wife witnessed a robbery, but threatened that his wife (who he loved dearly) would be murdered if he picked out the killers the old man became instantly blind. As soon as the criminals were captured the old man got his eyesight back again.

This is a well known event on medical documentation when people become so stressed that something physical happens to them, and then once the problem is sorted out, they are instantly back in good health again.

This is worth thinking about with our own health. The mind can do strange things to help and protect us.

These examples also show that while we can control some of what happens to us physically, when under stress, facing real or imagined fears our body can take over and bring on its own way of reacting to the situation.

Sometimes the mind takes over so much that the person finally goes insane.

The young woman who loved her husband and wanted his child was devastated when he left her. Rather than face the facts, her desperate mind collapsed and gave her, her dream.

Every morning the doctor would visit her she would present to him the imaginary new born baby in her arms that she believed with all her heart and soul that she gave birth to that night. He y was very happy abs content that her dream had come true.

She couldn’t have her dream in real life, so her mind gave her the delight of having the man’s baby every night till the day she died. As far as she was concerned they were still married, and life is good.

These examples show the incredible power the subconscious mind has over our body.

Please be aware that your bad health, addictions etc, could be there due to some stress, or issues in your life.

People say to face up to our fears because when we do whatever is bothering us mentally and physically disappear.

Be brave, this is your life and future that we are talking about here. Do what is best for you.

If you leave things too late then you could end up like the young lady who had her baby every night.

Get your life sorted out.

All the best from
