2 Corinthians Chapter 5, verse 17:
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
You are very important to the world. You have the power to change a part of your world by showing love, encouraging others (even under pressure), and being a blessing to others, especially if they need help.
To see people as God sees them is to see people as how they could be if they follow God with faith, hope, love and commitment.
Look to the sinner lost without God and you may see the old you before you were born again.
Look to the sinner lost without God and you should see the hope that God sees for that person. You should feel the hope that God feels for these people. You should feel the sadness that God feels for these people. God wants to take them from Satan’s hands, as God’s children we should as well.
When we see the drug addict (or whoever) we have the choice of judging that person and then condemning that person, or helping he or she. We could toss them out of our minds as no hope and a waste of time.
If you and I simply walk away then it is not the drug addict that is the failure, it is the people who walk away leaving them no hope for the future, that is the one who has failed. It means that we have failed the drug addict, and failed ourselves, failed their family, failed as an example in our own family, failed our community and failed God.
Or we could be the person who makes a difference to that lost persons life. We must constantly be a lighthouse to those who are lost in the storms of life and need a safe port to dock at until they are able to deal with the world again.
You are the key to a broken heart, you can open the door of hope. And with hope comes dreams. And with dreams comes the first steps forward to change. Then a new life is born.
With Jesus as your example and guide you can change peoples lives and bring them happiness that they have never known.
When we are told that we are to serve God we should understand that this means that we are to serve people. Like the Police or a Doctor we have a part to play in the community. We don’t get paid, or need schooling to love and care for people or animals. We do what good we can because God requires it of us because it helps stop suffering and takes people from Satan’s hands.
We are the world’s Christian Spiritual Healers, here to save souls and lead people from the hands of evil. We are the peace that the world needs to bring back some order and live to the lost. You are a lighthouse to the lost.
Let’s let our love show in our life, in our actions and the way we share the world with others.
