If you grew up in their homes and were taught what they were taught, and abused like they were abused, you would hope for a society that would allow you to have another chance, so that you could make right all the wrongs that were done to you.

People have very strong views about such things. But I always remember, “There but for the grace of God goes I”.

If you look at the teenagers today, you will find that they are a reflection of today’s society. Adults hate to admit this for a few reasons, and one is because they know it is partly there fault, and also it is their parents faults, and their grandparents. It is far more comfortable to blame the teenagers and be irresponsible and in denial.
A baby is born with an empty soul. Society, schools, parenting, laws, peers etc, all affect how the child will turn out.
If the parents smoke there is a very high percentage of children that smoke. It is what they have seen and accepted all their lives.
Look at the children of party parents, the parents are often the same, they party too. It is the same for child abuse, feminism, chauvinism, and children of capitalism tend to be capitalists too.

Martin Luther King Jr said that people are taught to hate, no one is born with hatred. People are taught to hate and to disrespect others, and also sex abuse.

There was a teenager boy who was taken from his bad parents and given to an uncle. Cyps didn’t check the uncles lifestyle, and in the future the boy was arrested with his uncle for rape. His uncle was a gang member.

If a person refuses to repent (turn over a new leaf, then by all means chuck them in jail to keep the public safe), but if people honestly discover the errors of their old ways they deserve a chance to change. But only if they repent.

I don’t support the death penalty. Most people that want it have no idea what they are supporting, it goes way beyond the death of the person, and most of the general public are ignorant about such things.

Everyone deserves a second chance, everyone.
